1. Nov 23,  · Rez Band is the music I grew up with as a young Christian. Awaiting Your Reply and Rainbow's End opened my eyes to the ravages of sin in my relationship with God and with others. Colours was a surprise in the way it grew on me slowly. At first I was not fond of the subtle stylistic change but then the lyrics began to sink in and I began to appreciate the new sound/5(17).

3. Nov 22,  · Both would be added to a special CD-reissue of the classic album. The first Daniel Amos album (released in ) was a self-titled, country music classic that sounded more like The Eagles than Willie Nelson, and that sound was difficult for the band to later overcome.

8. Rez Band swung and missed on DMZ, an album that while shining in places otherwise comes across too erratic. To be fair, DMZ is the fifth album from Rez Band in as many years, which perhaps accounts for the group running out of ideas and inspiration during a period in which if it was not on the road it was in the studio. 9. Colours in my opinion might not be the best Resurrection Band album but is no doubt in the thick of things in ranking a notch below Rainbow’s End, Innocent Blood and Lament. Helping it rate so high is some outstanding material, including “Colours”, “American Dream”, “City Streets”, not to mention a plethora of quality deep cuts.
