  4. Jun 20,  · David Live is a fantastic album. I bought it when it first came out on vinyl. This copy went AWOL and then I bought the 2CD set. I tracked down a vinyl version again (UK Orange label) and couldn't be happier. As for Diamond Dogs, I have this on UK vinyl (Orange label) as well as the EMI CD with bonus tracks.

Diamond Dogs er eit konseptalbum og det åttande studioalbumet til den britiske musikkartisten David Bowie, gjeven ut på RCA Records i Tematisk var albumet ei blanding av romanen av George Orwell og Bowie si eiga soge om ei postapokolyptisk verd. Bowie planla og byrja på ein musikal basert på boka til Orwell, og byrja å skrive songar for prosjektet etter han hadde spelt inn.

  7. Album Rating: I judge primarily by music as well. Doesn't change the fact that this album is a masterpiece lyrically. Bowie did a single disco song, probably the best one ever, and called it a day before the disco wave ever hit. Dude is such a visionary. Bromero July 25th
